WJBK Fox 2: Wayne State Mike Ilitch School of Business opens its doors
An exciting new addition in downtown Detroit as the Mike Ilitch School of Business celebrated its formal opening Tuesday. The brand new building will serve most of the business school's 4,000 students. "I am sure Mr. I is looking down upon us and he would be very proud of this building and this school," said M. Roy Wilson, Wayne State president. Three years ago it was just an idea but today, it is reality. "A place that they can call home and give back to for a lifetime, even generations," said Chris Ilitch. "Because now our college educated talent is choosing to stay right here, to seize the opportunities of a world class city and a world class state."
