Ilitch School scholarship applications to open earlier for 2018-2019 school year
The timing for Mike Ilitch School of Business scholarships will be much earlier this year. The 2018-19 scholarship application period is Aug. 30 to Sept. 29, 2017, so students should be prepared apply as soon as they begin the fall semester. Previously, the scholarship application period was during winter semester.
The Ilitch School awards roughly $500,000 in scholarships exclusively to business students every year. On average, more than 200 business students receive support from one or more of 72 named scholarships.

"Scholarships provide many Ilitch Business students the opportunity to complete their degrees earlier and/or work less to cover tuition and expenses,” Assistant Dean Linda Zaddach said. “This funding is critical to the success of our students."
The Ilitch School accepts applications for private scholarships once per year and presents the awards at the Annual Recognition and Awards Program.
The application for the 2018-2019 school year will open on Aug. 30 and close on Sept. 29, 2017.
