Ilitch School M.B.A. student earns All-GLIAC recognition
Mike Ilitch School of Business M.B.A. student and track team student-athlete Sydney Benson earned All-GLIAC recognition with a third-place finish in the 800m run (2:13.29) at the 2021 GLIAC (Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) Outdoor Track and Field Championships on May 7. The Warriors finished sixth out of 11 teams with 50 points.
The Harper Woods native and Grosse Pointe North High School graduate enrolled in the Ilitch School’s M.B.A. program after earning a bachelor’s in information systems from Howard University in spring 2020. She was named to the WSU Athletic Director’s Honor Roll (term GPA 3.5 or higher) for fall 2020.
