Ilitch Business students earn All-GLIAC Academic honors

Four Ilitch Business students from the men's swim and dive team recently earned Academic All-GLIAC honors for their cumulative GPAs through the Fall 2017 semester.

Sophomore accounting major Ryan Katulski was named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team. He has also been named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll in each of his semesters at WSU.

Juniors Rasmus Olsen (business management) and Dima Drobnych (global supply chain), and sophomore Nate Michna (finance) earned GLIAC All-Academic Team recognition.  Olsen is a two-time Athletic Director's Honor Roll recipient (Fall 2015 and Fall 2016), and was named to the Coach's Honor Roll in three other terms. Drobnych is a two-time honoree of the GLIAC All-Academic award. Michna was named to the GLIAC All-Academic in his first eligible season.  He was named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll for 2017 and the Coach's Honor Roll for Winter 2017.

To earn conference All-Academic recognition, student-athletes must be an active member of their respective teams at the end of the season, and cannot be a freshman or first-year transfer student.  Student-athletes who meet that criteria and carry a cumulative GPA of 3.0-3.49 are eligible for the All-Academic Award.  Students-athletes who have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher are eligible for the All-Academic Excellence Award.
