CARMA lecture series to host distinguished professor from UNC-Chapel Hill

On January 24, Wayne State University’s Center for the Advancement of Research Methods and Analysis (CARMA) will host its third live webcast lecture of the 2013-2014 CARMA Consortium Webcast Program. January’s speaker is Jeffrey R. Edwards, Belk Distinguished Professor of Organizational Behavior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.

Edward’s presentation is titled "On the Use of Spline Regression in the Study of Congruence in Organizational Research." The purpose of this presentation will be to provide a broad overview of how downward trends affect research results.

Thirty faculty and graduate students are expected to attend both the webcast and the "Meet the Methodologist" interview in person on WSU’s Midtown Detroit campus. More than 275 additional faculty and students from 42 of CARMA’s Consortium Webcast Program member institutions will view the webcast live online. A recording of this lecture will be available for viewing for all faculty and students at 141 universities worldwide that belong to the Consortium Webcast Program or the International Video Library Program.
