Anand Jha appointed associate editor of Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Economics

Mike Ilitch School of Business Associate Professor of Finance Anand Jha has been appointed associate editor of the Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Economics.

The Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Economics publishes articles “that deal with various economic topics but also involve issues that are related to other social sciences, especially psychology, or use experimental methods of inquiry.”

Jha will be joining a team of well-known behavioral economists worldwide in deciding what papers to publish in the journal. Most of his research focuses on understanding the role of social capital (the propensity to trust others and cooperate) on corporate outcomes. Jha has published in top journals such as Accounting Review, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis and the Journal of Banking and Finance.

Jha received his Ph.D. from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business in 2009 and joined Wayne State University in 2016. Before coming to Wayne State, Jha taught at Texas A&M International University.
