Why choose organizational leadership at the Ilitch School?
The online M.S. in Organizational Leadership (M.S.O.L.) program is designed to address leadership and management needs in a wide variety of industries. Current and future leaders completing this program will hone their leadership competencies and become equipped to excel in an evolving and diverse organizational environment through its rigorous, evidence-based curriculum, exposure to industry experts' insights and application-driven learning. Individuals with at least two years of work experience are encouraged to apply.
The program consists of 30 credits of coursework including both required (12 credits) and elective (18 credits) courses. The curriculum provides students with essential leadership competencies, while allowing aspiring, emerging and mid-level leaders with a bachelor's degree to customize their learning experience to their unique development needs and career goals. A business education background is not required. Individuals employed by for-profit, non-profit and public sectors, entrepreneurs and individuals changing careers will find value in this program.
