Student support and resources

Explore the extensive array of student support tools and services at the Ilitch School of Business. Undergraduate and graduate students can access advanced Bloomberg Terminals, state-of-the-art software and IT support with our computer and technology resources. We also offer free tutoring support for statistics courses and an Accounting Tutoring Lab.

The Ilitch School also provides opportunities for undergraduate students to advance their business skills:

  • Join our elevator pitch competition to craft your public speaking skills. 
  • If you are a first-generation college student, apply to the Corporate Mentor Program, which matches you with a mid- to senior-level executive. 
  • High-achieving students can apply for AGRADE, an accelerated program option that allows you to complete both a bachelor's and a master's degree.
  • Check out the Career Services office, which can help you prepare for interviews, find internships and more.

First-Year Interest Groups for Business Students

Jumpstart your college journey with Wayne State’s First-Year Interest Groups (FIGs). In the business FIG, you take the same block of business courses as fellow students during your first semester. With this shared schedule, you can complete degree requirements and build a sense of community at the Ilitch School.
