Career Services

Gain marketable skills and build vital career networks to land your first internship or dream job. Our Career Services office provides a wide range of support from résumé revisions to hosting a recruiting platform that connects you with employers.

Connect and engage

Handshake

Handshake is a web-based platform for students, alumni, employers and Career Services staff to interact. Make an appoinbtment with a career counselor and search jobs, internships, workshops, career fairs and other helpful information. Current Ilitch School students have an account created for them automatically and just need to activate it.

Xinspire

Xinspire is a web-based Corporate Mentor Program platform for first-generation students, career mentors and Career Services staff. It is a central location for mentors and mentees to interact, for students to learn about job and internship oppportunities, sign up for workshops and events, as well as other resources. Current Ilitch School students will need to create an account using a Wayne State University email address to access the platform.

Big Interview

This online interview training and practice site is free to WSU students. Create an account using your access id and password to access tools to prepare for a job or internship interview!
