Leadership is vital for the success at all organizational levels. At Wayne State University's Mike Ilitch School of Business, our distinguished faculty collaborate with industry experts to equip management students and graduates with essential skills to navigate the complexities of modern leadership. From refining strategic decision-making skills to leveraging the potential of diverse workforces, our program empowers individuals to adeptly tackle the challenges posed by dynamic business environments.
Industry Mentor Program
Participating Ilitch School students pursuing a degree in management are matched with a professional alumni mentor for the academic year beginning in the fall semester. The Industry Mentor Program gives students the opportunity to meet and work with a professional in the field on a one-on-one basis where they focus on various, pre-selected topics either virtually or in person. Students gain an increased awareness of management roles and opportunities while expanding their professional networks and gaining new skills for their future careers. The program runs October through April.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis with admissions decisions made in September of each year.
