Winter 2022 welcome message from Dean Forsythe

On behalf of the entire Ilitch School leadership team, please allow me to wish you a very happy new year! It is our pleasure to welcome you back to the Mike Ilitch School of Business for what we hope will be a safe, healthy and prosperous winter 2022 semester. While your return is primarily virtual for now, we are optimistic that we will see you back in person soon.

Here are some helpful items to review as the new semester begins:

In accordance with the university’s virtual start for winter 2022, the Ilitch School building will remain closed to in-person visits through Jan. 31. If you do need to come to the WSU campus for any reason, be sure to complete the Campus Daily Screener, wear your mask and bring your OneCard with you. For the latest information on campus health and safety protocols, please visit wayne.edu/coronavirus.
Students who have any questions about their classes or academic program should not hesitate to contact the Frederick Hessler Student Success Center or the Graduate Programs Office. Also, be sure to contact the Career Planning and Placement Office as soon as possible for guidance on your journey to professional success. While all advising will be conducted virtually through at least Jan. 31, please know that our advisors are still here to help!
While the rest of the building is closed, Fourteen East will be open throughout January. Located at the southeast corner of the Ilitch School along Woodward, Fourteen East offers coffees, teas, sandwiches, soups, pastries, breakfast, lunch and more. The café now accepts OneCard Dollars and offers online ordering via Toast. Fourteen East is also part of WSU’s show your OneCard and save program and offers 10% off any purchase over $3. Winter hours are Sunday 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Monday-Thursday 8 a.m. - 7 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Hours may be adjusted to best serve the Ilitch School and surrounding community.
