Ilitch School students Nenad Dimitrievikj and Richard Taylor receive Financial Executives Institute Award

The Mike Ilitch School of Business is proud to announce that The Detroit Chapter of Financial Executives Institute (FEI) will honor Ilitch School students Nenad Dimitrievikj and Richard Taylor at the organization’s Academic Awards Night on February 22, 2024. 

The FEI Academic Award recognizes outstanding undergraduate and graduate students at Southeastern Michigan universities pursuing degrees that emphasize accounting or finance. 

Nenad Dimitrievikj 

Nenad Dimitrievikj

Dimitrievikj is a senior studying finance and accounting and has consistently maintained dean’s list status and a 4.0 GPA during his time at the Ilitch School. He was the recipient of the Jack Kuzminski Memorial Endowed Scholarship in 2022, and the Mary K. and Paul A. Glantz Family Endowed Scholarship in 2023. After his expected graduation in May 2024, he plans on pursuing a career in banking. Dimitrievikj was born in Macedonia, and moved to the United States when he was 12 years old. In addition to English, he is fluent in Macedonian, Serbian and Croatian. 

 

 

Richard Taylor 

Richard Taylor

Richard Taylor is currently the Director of Pharmacy for the Corewell Health Taylor, Trenton and Wayne Hospitals. He has been with Corewell/Beaumont for over a decade, holding positions of increasing responsibility. Taylor plans to complete his MBA in April 2024 with concentrations in financial accounting and healthcare supply chain management, and after graduation he will continue in his current role, utilizing the knowledge obtained from this program to strengthen his department and enhance his teams. 

Taylor earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Michigan State University, followed by his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Michigan. After graduation, he completed a PGY1 Clinical Pharmacy Residency at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota, followed by a PGY2 Pharmacy Administration Residency at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  

In his free time, Richard and his wife Devon enjoy baseball and traveling, and are working on attending a Tigers game at every MLB stadium.
