WJR: Kevin Ketels on supply chain issues caused by Ambassador Bridge protest
Kevin Ketels, assistant professor of teaching and global supply chain management at Wayne State University’s Mike Ilitch School of Business, joins in a conversation about the ongoing supply chain issues, which have been exacerbated by the blockade at the Ambassador Bridge. Despite administrative promises for urgent solutions at the ports, problems continue. “The problem is that only part of the challenge that we have is that the supply chain reaches not just the ports, but also trucking, warehousing, and manufacturing,” said Ketels. “It’s much more complex than just the ports, and it’s going to take a lot more than that to fix the challenges that we have today…”
