Wayne State University Student Johnathan Zalewski Awarded PCAOB Scholarship

Johnathan ZalewskiThe Mike Ilitch School of Business is delighted to announce that Johnathan Zalewski, a current Master's student in accounting, has been honored as one of the recipients of the highly esteemed PCAOB Scholars award. This scholarship, valued at $10,000, recognizes outstanding undergraduate students who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement and a strong dedication to pursuing a career in auditing. 

His achievements have already captured the attention of major accounting firms, and he has secured a full-time position at Deloitte in their Audit & Assurance department. 

Expressing his gratitude, Johnathan commented, "Receiving the PCAOB Scholarship is a tremendous honor, and I am sincerely grateful to Wayne State University and the professors who have provided unwavering support throughout my academic journey. This scholarship will allow me to focus more on my studies and alleviate financial burdens, enabling me to excel in my pursuit of becoming a CPA."
