School featured in The Princeton Review's "The Best 294 Business Schools," 2012 edition

The Wayne State University School of Business Administration is an outstanding business school, according to The Princeton Review. The education services company features the school in the new 2012 edition of its book, The Best 294 Business Schools.

“We recommend the WSU School of Business Administration to readers of our book and users of our website, www.PrincetonReview.com, as one of the best institutions they could attend to earn an MBA,” said Robert Franek, The Princeton Review’s senior vice president of publishing.

“We chose 294 business schools in this book based on our high opinion of their academic programs and offerings, as well as our review of institutional data we collect from the schools. We also strongly consider the candid opinions of students attending the schools who rate and report on their campus experiences at their schools on our survey for the book.”

The 2012 edition offers two-page profiles of the schools with write-ups on their academics, student life, and admissions, plus ratings for their academics, selectivity, and career placement services.

In the profile about Wayne State, the business school is described as “affordable and convenient” and that students “appreciate that every MBA course can be taken at your choice of the two campuses or online.” Students who were surveyed noted the School’s finance program and solid preparation in marketing and general management. The program also offers “great networking and exposure to professors who “have a nice mix of textbook-to-real world experience and knowledge.”

The Princeton Review does not rank the business schools in the book on a single hierarchical list from 1 to 294, or name one business school best overall. The Best 294 Business Schools: 2012 Edition also has advice on applying to business schools and funding the degree.
