Ilitch Business student-athletes receive All-GLIAC recognition for women’s basketball
Eleven members of the Wayne State University women’s basketball team were recognized with GLIAC (Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) All-Academic accolades, setting a school record for the program. Over the last 10 years, 74 Warrior women’s basketball student-athletes have earned GLIAC All-Academic honors.
Of the 11 athletes honored, two are Mike Ilitch School of Business students.
Student-athletes receiving All-Academic Excellence Team honors for maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 were graduate student Tori Perez (M.B.A.) and senior Alexis Miller (finance).
Perez was on the All-Academic Excellence Team for the fourth consecutive season, while Miller was an All-Academic Excellence recipient for the third straight season.
