Ilitch Business student-athletes receive All-GLIAC recognition for men’s cross country
Eleven members of the 2021 Wayne State University men’s cross country team were recognized with GLIAC (Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) All-Academic accolades. Over the last 12 years, 83 Warrior men’s cross country student-athletes have earned GLIAC All-Academic honors.
Of the 11 athletes honored, three are Mike Ilitch School of Business students.
Student-athletes receiving All-Academic Excellence Team honors for maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 were senior Mitchell Chabot (finance) and redshirt sophomore Donald O'Keefe (finance). Chabot is a recipient for the third consecutive year while O’Keefe was recognized for the second straight season.
Receiving All-Academic Team recognition for maintaining a cumulative GPA between 3.0 and 3.49 was redshirt senior Sam Borisch (management). Borisch was honored for the second straight season after transferring to WSU in the fall of 2019.
