Ilitch Business student-athletes receive All-GLIAC recognition for men’s basketball

Five members of the Wayne State University men’s basketball team were recognized with GLIAC (Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) All-Academic accolades. Over the last 12 years, 46 Warrior men’s basketball student-athletes have earned GLIAC All-Academic honors.

Of the five athletes honored, four are Mike Ilitch School of Business students.

Receiving All-Academic Team recognition for maintaining a cumulative GPA between 3.0 and 3.49 were redshirt senior Cortez Jackson (finance), senior LJ DeWolf (marketing), junior Nate Talbot (global supply chain management) and redshirt sophomore Cadin Augustine (management).

DeWolf was on the GLIAC All-Academic Team for the third consecutive season, while Augustine and Talbot were recognized for the second straight year. Jackson, a transfer from Henry Ford College in the fall of 2020, was honored in his first season eligible.
