Ilitch Business student-athlete receives GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team honors for women’s cross country
Eleven members of the 2020-21 Wayne State University women’s cross country squad were recognized with GLIAC (Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) All-Academic accolades. Mike Ilitch School of Business sophomore student-athlete Thailyia Christensen (marketing) received All-Academic Excellence Team honors for maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5.
The 11 recipient count is the most in program history (previous mark of nine in both 2010 and 2019), with the 10 selections to the All-Academic Excellence Team also being the most ever (previous mark of eight was set in 2019 and equaled in 2020).
