Ilitch Business student-athlete receives All-GLIAC recognition for women’s golf
The Wayne State University women’s golf program had six student-athletes on the GLIAC (Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) All-Academic Excellence Team. Of the athletes honored, one was a Mike Ilitch School of Business student.
Junior Natalie Groom (marketing) received All-Academic Excellence Team honors for maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5. Groom was recognized for the second straight year.
Wayne State recorded the second-most Academic All-GLIAC honorees in school history with 247 during the 2021-22 academic year. WSU has produced 1,817 Academic All-GLIAC recipients over the last decade.
