Ilitch Business student-athlete receives All-GLIAC recognition for women’s cross country
Nine members of the 2021 Wayne State University women’s cross country team were recognized with GLIAC (Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) All-Academic Excellence Team accolades. Over the last 12 years, 83 Warrior women’s cross country student-athletes have earned GLIAC All-Academic honors.
Of the nine athletes honored, one is a Mike Ilitch School of Business student.
Redshirt sophomore Thailyia Christensen (marketing) received All-Academic Excellence Team honors for maintaining a GPA of at least 3.5. Christensen was honored for the second straight season.
