Ilitch Business management major receives Beta Gamma Sigma Alumni Chapter Scholarship
Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS), an invitation-only business honor society, has named Mike Ilitch School of Business student Cara Fernandez as a recipient of their 2022 Alumni Chapter Scholarship.
The BGS Alumni Network has 32 chapters. Each year, eligible chapters partner with BGS Global Headquarters to award a BGS member with a $1,000 scholarship to be used for continuing education.
Fernandez maintains a 4.0 GPA in her management major at the Ilitch School. She has made the dean’s list every semester and is entering her senior year. Fernandez works as a legal administrative assistant for General Motors. She also works on designs and sales for Lucky Penny Craft Co., a small business she owns.
