Donald Glazier

2017 Mike Ilitch School of Business 25 Under 25 winner

B.S. in Accounting and Finance expected December 2017

As a freshman, Donald Glazier secured a banking internship at Quicken Loans, the foundation on which he has built his professional career. Since that first experience, Donald has gone on to hold a legal internship with Quicken Loans, an internal audit internship with American Axle & Manufacturing, a busy season tax consulting internship with Deloitte & Touche LLP, an audit position with KPMG LLP and a tax consulting internship with PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Most recently, Donald was offered a position within the Mike Ilitch School of Business to professionally develop a group of freshmen, helping them create and revise their resumes, running a mock interview program for students looking for their first internship, and mentoring them through the creation of LinkedIn accounts, etiquette for career fairs/meet-the-firm events and internship preparation.

Donald is also a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, through which he has learned the importance of time management, interpersonal skills, conflict resolution and leadership. He has played a major role in the organization's treasury, scholarship and professional development, and has helped with recruitment, risk and community service.

"My goal upon entering college was always clear to me: develop myself professionally to place myself in the best possible professional situation upon graduation," Donald says. "This has been a goal that I have kept true to throughout my time at Wayne State."
