Automotive Women's Alliance (AWA) Foundation Scholarship

Scholarships are awarded to female, North American citizens, with a passion for a career or advancement in the automotive and its related industries. While AWAF members and family members are encouraged to apply for scholarships, we encourage applicants who are not affiliated with the organization to apply as well.

Institute for Supply Management (ISM) R. Gene Richter Scholarship

The R. Gene and Nancy D. Richter Foundation and the R. Gene Richter Scholarship fund at ISM will provide a $10,000 scholarship ($5,000 for December graduates) to individuals seeking education in supply management, supply chain management, or procurement. An eligible student will be in his or her senior year during the 2022-2023 academic year and be enrolled full-time in an accredited supply management, supply chain management, or procurement program to specialize in the supply management profession. The application deadline for 2023 has passed at this time.

Terry L. Priest Scholarship

This scholarship program was created to support students who are committed to the field of transportation, logistics, or supply chain management and are passionate about the industry.

The Material Handling Education Foundation, Inc.

The Material Handling Education Foundation, Inc. is an independent charitable organization with a mission to engage and attract students to the material handling, logistics, and supply chain industry by providing financial support. The foundation offers scholarship award opportunities to undergraduates who are pursuing a material handling, logistics, or supply chain career. The student should clearly demonstrate dedication to achieving excellence, strong leadership skills, potential for future growth as a leader and persistence in the pursuit of education.

Detroit Intermodal Association Ocean Freight Association Scholarship

The DIA-OFA is inviting qualified students to participate in their scholarship awards program, open to all DIA-OFA members meeting criteria spelled out on their application.

Transportation Club of Detroit Scholarship Program (DOC)

The Transportation Club of Detroit (TCD) is an educational organization consisting of transportation, logistics and supply chain professionals. TCD has awarded scholarships in excess of $370,000 to deserving college students over the years.

TCD scholarships are awarded to students enrolled in an approved, accredited institution of higher learning in a degree program in the field of transportation, traffic management, packaging, etc. in preparation for pursuit of a career in transportation. Awards are based upon scholastic ability, professional interest, character, degree program and financial need. Axalta Bright Futures Scholarship Program

Axalta Coating Systems (a leading global coatings company) has established a scholarship program to assist current undergraduate and graduate students who plan to continue their education in select fields in college or vocational school programs, including those studying global supply chain management at the Mike Ilitch School of Business. Students can apply for renewable scholarships of up to $5,000 per year from the Axalta Bright Futures Scholarship Program. Michigan Chapter of Women in Defense (WID) Horizon College Scholarship

The Michigan Chapter of WID, a national security organization, established the Horizons Scholarship Program in 2009 to encourage women to pursue careers related to the national security and defense interests of the United States and to provide development opportunities to women already working in national security and defense fields. From the program's inception to date, more than $100,000 in scholarships have been awarded. Learn more here.
