Biography
With a BBA and MBA in Finance from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, and an MS in Finance from the University of Tampa, Florida, I bring a strong academic foundation to my current role as a PhD student in Finance at Wayne State University. My research focuses on key areas in empirical corporate finance, including how culture influences strategic alliances and corporate social responsibility, how social trust and networks shape alliance formation, and how firms navigate financial distress through dividend policy.
Previously a finance professor in Bangladesh, I now teach Principles of International Finance, helping students engage with global financial systems, exchange rate behavior, and international investment strategy. My work aims to bridge classroom learning with real-world financial challenges.
