Ilitch Business supply chain student awarded trip to CSCMP National Meeting

Hafsa Qureshi with CSCMP President Mark Baxa

Mike Ilitch School of Business global supply chain management student Hafsa Qureshi was recently awarded a scholarship from the Eastern Michigan Roundtable of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP). The scholarship funded Qureshi’s attendance to and participation in EDGE 2022, CSCMP’s annual national meeting, in Nashville earlier this fall.

Over 2,000 professionals attended the supply chain conference and exhibition, which focused on building resilience and agility in the supply chain.

Qureshi is double majoring in marketing and supply chain management. She currently serves as president of the Global Supply Chain Management Association, a student organization within the Ilitch School. Qureshi recently accepted a full-time offer with General Motors upon graduation. She previously worked internships for Stellantis, Toyota and GM.

The Eastern Michigan Roundtable of CSCMP is committed to engaging and supporting future supply chain professionals. This year, they funded national meeting attendance for students from Wayne State University, Michigan State University, Grand Valley State University and Central Michigan University.
