Ilitch Business alumni to be honored at MICPA Celebrate

Three Mike Ilitch School of Business alumni will be honored at the 2022 Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) “Celebrate” awards dinner and reception.

Sejla Kulaglic (’12, M.S.T. ’18) will receive the Trailblazer Impact Award, which recognizes a professional who has stood out and made an impact in their organization, the profession or with a specific individual, despite being newer in their career. Kulaglic currently works as an advisory and tax senior manager for Rehmann.

Sarah Mather (M.S.T. ’10) will receive the Powerhouse Impact Award, which recognizes a seasoned professional who has made a significant impact on their organization, the profession or the pipeline. Mather currently works as a senior grants analyst for the Mott Foundation.

Brandon “Sharky” Zayid (’18) will receive a Rising Star Award, which recognizes accomplishments and contributions of up-and-coming CPAs who add value to their organization through strategic and innovative initiatives, exhibit leadership competencies and possess a commitment to the profession. Zayid is self-employed with Tax Shark CPAs LLC, a company he started.
