Scholarships for business students

Did you know the Mike Ilitch School of Business awards roughly $500,000 in scholarships exclusively to business students every year? On average, more than 200 business students receive support from one or more of our 83 named scholarships

We accept applications for private scholarships once per year and present the awards at our annual scholarship event in August.

The 2021-2022 scholarship application for current undergraduate and graduate business students is now closed. The 2022-2023 scholarship application will open this summer.

Mike Ilitch School of Business Student Emergency Fund

Undergraduate students currently enrolled in the Mike Ilitch School of Business who have outstanding or prior term student account balances that are preventing them from registering may apply for this scholarship ($750 maximum amount) through the Ilitch School's Frederick Hessler Student Success Center. Funds may be used for tuition, fees and other educational expenses. Recipients may renew this award provided they continue to meet all criteria in this agreement, but renewal of this award is not automatic. Recipients must reapply and be reevaluated in order to receive a renewal of this award. You must submit a current resume as part of the application process.
