A Wayne State Presidential Scholar, Andrew McAnelly has not only maintained a 4.0 GPA all of his three semesters in the Mike Ilitch School of Business, he has also attained junior standing. In his short time on campus, he has also earned two internships: one with Dow Chemical Company for summer 2017, and one with Plante Moran in the winter of 2018.
In addition to a rigorous academic schedule, Andrew finds time for community service. He has volunteered with the Special Olympics since 2012. He also helps local second-graders improve their reading skills through the Detroit Fellows Tutoring Project.
Andrew is a member of the Business Student Senate and Beta Alpha Psi. He is also an Honors College mentor.
Andrew is a senior accounting major at the Ilitch School and a Wayne State Presidential Scholar. He is currently a tax intern at Plante Moran.
