Harini Patel maintains a 3.82 GPA in her marketing major and economics minor and has made the dean's list every semester since 2019.
Patel is a recipient of the Wayne State Gold Award, the Wayne Access Tuition Pledge, the Marianne Brandt Endowed Scholarship and the Dr. Ferdinand Mauser Endowed Scholarship. She is a member of both the American Marketing Association and Wayne Women in Business. Patel previously volunteered as a public relations coordinator for The W Food Pantry.
Patel currently works as a resident advisor for WSU Housing. She has previously worked as a guest associate for Kroger, a marketing intern for RRIHS, and a marketing specialist and general office assistant for Wayne State.
Patel moved to the United States seven years ago at the age of 15 and speaks three languages fluently.
