Donald O'Keefe maintains a 3.85 GPA with dual concentrations in accounting and finance and has made the dean's list several times. He qualified for the Ilitch School's Accelerated Graduate Enrollment (AGRADE) program, which allows top students to enroll simultaneously in an undergraduate and graduate program. O'Keefe plans to graduate from the Ilitch School with his M.B.A. in May 2024.
O'Keefe is a Wayne State cross country scholar-athlete, a recipient of the Oakland Hills Scholarship Trust and a recipient of the Wayne State Warrior Award. He is president of the Financial Management Association's WSU chapter and is responsible for managing and organizing events for students and professionals. O'Keefe is also a mentee in the Ilitch School's Corporate Mentor Program.
O'Keefe currently works as a championship caddie at Oakland Hills Country Club. He previously worked as an ACE intern for KPMG LLP, a global network of professional firms providing audit, tax and advisory services. O'Keefe volunteers with the Wayne State Food Loop delivering food to homeless shelters.
