Laura Cazacu maintains a 4.0 GPA with dual concentrations in information systems management and management at the Ilitch School. She has made the dean's list every semester at Wayne State.
Cazacu is a member of WSU's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and is co-captain of the women's tennis team. She has earned GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team, All-GLIAC First Team and All-GLIAC Second Team honors. Cazacu has been named an ITA All-Academic Scholar-Athlete, a CoSIDA Academic At-Large All-District Nominee and a GLIAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week twice. She has also been named a recipient of the NCAA Division 2 Athletics Directors Association Academic Achievement Award.
Cazacu interns as the director of operations for Agency M-1, a student-run digital consulting agency. She also works as an operations supervisor for WSU's Mort Harris Recreation and Fitness Center and as a manager student assistant for Wayne State Athletics. She has interned previously for Ford Romania in a dual human resources and information technology role.
