B.S. in Global Supply Chain Management expected May 2022
Areeb (Oraib) Khan is a pre-med student majoring in global supply chain management and minoring in public health. He is on track to graduate summa cum laude and is an active member of Alpha Kappa Psi, a professional business fraternity.
Khan is vice president of the student organization Wayne State Future Pediatrics, where he coordinates the Annual Pediatrician Panel and arranges general body meetings. He has helped grow the group by 37 percent since taking office.
Currently, Khan works as an inventory clerk for Beaumont Hospital, where he maintains stock in a storeroom, logs hospital inventory and supplies COVID-19 units with personal protection equipment.
Khan is a finalist in the 2021 SCAN Health Virtual Business Case Competition, where, along with his teammates, he researched COVID-19 challenges in healthcare supply chain, analyzed findings and established a proposal for the Canadian federal government.
