Taylor McCarty is a purchasing strategy intern for Ford Motor Company, where he creates internal surveys, updates terms and conditions to ensure Ford's industry competitiveness, and manages inventory for the COVID-19 response group. He previously worked as a purchasing intern for Joyson Safety Systems.
McCarty is a student-athlete on the Wayne State football team and has been ranked the eighth-best punter in its history. He has completed 124 hours of volunteer service over his three years in college, including making sandwiches with the Salvation Army and coaching high school football players. He maintains a 3.9 GPA while juggling courses, sports and volunteer work.
