As a member of the Wayne State baseball team, Josh Nelson devotes much of his time to doing community service. Most recently, Josh and his teammates helped raise money for cancer patient care at Henry Ford Hospital.
Josh founded and operates Nelson Creative, a full-service creative agency. He works with local businesses, brands and people to create engaging video, photo and web content. Josh has interned with WealthCare Financial and served as a senior advisor for Vector Marketing. He has also secured an internship with Curley Company, a full-service public relations firm in Washington, D.C.
During his time at the Mike Ilitch School of Business, Josh has performed more than 120 community service hours with organizations such as the Detroit Police Athletic League, Detroit Veterans Parade, Detroit Free Press/Chemical Bank Marathon, Detroit Tigers Foundation and Gleaners Food Bank. He is also a member of the Ilitch School's Corporate Mentor Program.
