M.S. in Accounting expected December 2019
Sarah Gidell-Deciechi earned her bachelor of science in accounting from the Mike Ilitch School of Business in 2018, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. Her next goal is to pass all four sections of the CPA exam on her first attempt. Sarah says she owes much of her success to the inspiring professors she had the privilege to get to know at the Mike Ilitch School of Business.
Sarah has held previous internships at the Accounting Aid Society and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Her hard work and dedication as a core assurance intern at PwC led her to accept a full-time offer with the company. Sarah is currently an accounting tutor at Wayne State where she promotes student success, provides feedback to students, and works with professionals and peer mentors to create a positive learning atmosphere for students.
Sarah is involved in many different organizations and programs including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Beta Gamma Sigma, Beta Alpha Si, the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, Clayton and McKervey's Reach Beyond Leadership Program, and PwC's Elevate Leadership Program.
