B.S. in Finance and Information System Management expected May 2020
Through hard work and determination—and mastering effective time management—Vyshnavi Chivukula has been able to successfully keep a 3.98 GPA with her busy schedule, making the Ilitch School dean's list five semesters in a row.
Working as the head tutor and business development lead at the Teja Learning Center, Vyshnavi frequently organizes classes by utilizing technology to provide valuable educational resources for her students, giving each individual student a study plan that best fits their goals. She also regularly formulates budget statements. Vyshnavi has worked as a corporate development and strategic initiatives intern at Flagstar Bank. This upcoming summer, she will be a financial analyst intern at General Motors.
Vyshnavi is a peer mentor in Wayne State's Academic Student Success Center, the fundraising secretary for Doctors Without Borders, and the media and networking president for Students for Orphan Relief. Vyshnavi says these experiences taught her a great deal of responsibility and accountability in order to ensure the success of each organization.
