Treasurer of Wayne State's Global Business Brigades, Julia Beleshi has completed 97 credits of her college curriculum and maintained a 4.0 GPA, all at the young age of 19. Julia attributes her accelerated academic and professional achievements to her hard work, dedication and relentless desire to learn.

Julia's determination and curiosity have made her attractive to many well-known companies including Deloitte, where she is currently an audit intern. During her time at the Mike Ilitch School of Business, Julia co-authored a paper, titled "Challenging the Rhetoric Justifying Immigrants as 'Indecent.'" Her paper defines decency in society and urges readers to extend decency to a larger group of individuals through a pragmatic approach of philosophy. It was submitted to the Journal of Rhetoric and Public Affairs and is currently being considered for publication.

Aside from her role with the Global Business Brigades, Julia is involved in a number of organizations including the Warrior Knit Crochet Detroit and Beta Alpha Psi. She is also a student champion for the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
