Mahmoud Saleh

B.S. in Finance expected May 2018

A member of the Honors College, Mahmoud Saleh maintains a 3.95 overall GPA. He recently completed an international finance internship at TransUnion Chicago. He also gained internship experience at Bodman PLC in Detroit, one of the city's top law firms, and Jaidah Group in Qatar.

As a paralegal assistant in Bodman's banking division, Mahmoud assisted with the accurate completion of major lending agreements, reviewing credit agreements, loan documents and bank statements for hundreds of clients. At Jaidah Group a private conglomerate that specializes in the distribution of automotive, electrical and heavy equipment vehicles he was a rotational finance intern, a role that afforded him the opportunity to immerse himself in hands-on roles in multiple departments of a successful business, while living and working in an international environment.

Mahmoud is also a founding member of Wayne State's Beta Omicron chapter of professional business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi, and he currently serves as an executive board member. He won the Ilitch School's Outstanding Student Award in 2017, and he participates in the school's Corporate Mentor Program.

In addition to his rigorous academics and service to student professional groups, Mahmoud has been a volunteer for Zaman International since 2010, helping the organization deliver food and household goods to support underserved communities in Metro Detroit.
