Mackenzie Queen

Vice president of the Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity, Mackenzie Queen consistently lands herself on the Ilitch School Dean's List.
Mackenzie currently works as a financial planning intern for Ayco, a Goldman Sachs subsidiary, and says it has given her tremendous first-hand experience and cemented her belief that she's on the right career path. She was accepted to Plante Moran's summer leadership program, Expo, in 2016, which led to her being chosen as a wealth management intern for Plante Moran this coming summer.
In addition to her position with Alpha Kappa Psi, Mackenzie is the fundraising chair for Global Business Brigades, an organization that sends students to different countries around the world to help local businesspeople with accounting, marketing, banking and other essential business skills. This summer, she is traveling to Nicaragua.
Mackenzie began volunteering on the American Red Cross disaster services finance team in 2017 around the time of hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria. She helps the team format spreadsheets and create budgets and presentations.
