B.S. in Global Supply Chain Management expected May 2018

A recipient of the Rebecca Joy Butler Scholarship, Rachel Cyranksi is president of the Global Supply Chain Management Association, a student representative officer for the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) and an executive member of Kappa Delta Sorority.

Rachel has been able to gain valuable professional experience through her three internships. She has completed internships at the Automotive Industry Action Group, Lear Corporation and Ford Motor Company. Rachel has secured a full-time position upon graduation in the Ford College Graduate Rotational Program, which provides thorough orientation to the purchasing functions at the automaker.

She has represented Wayne State in several national case competitions, and in 2016 won an in-class presentation and presented results to Ford representatives for the Ford Group Project. As a member of the Global Supply Chain Management Association, Rachel was instrumental in helping to create the first Wayne State Global Supply Chain Case Competition in April 2017.

Some of Rachel's volunteer work includes organizing a volunteer day at Gleaners Food Bank to help struggling families with food insecurity and working on the WSU Gift of Life Campaign, which won its seventh straight competition this past February.
