Marvena Yelda

2024 Mike Ilitch School of Business 25 Under 25 winner

Marvena Yelda earned her associates of Business Administration from Oakland Community College before attending the Ilitch School to pursue a bachelor of science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting and Finance. She has maintained a 3.88 GPA and dean's list status all semesters. She expects to graduate in May 2024.

Yelda has a strong background in finance and accounting, interning at Niterra in the summer of 2023, and staying on as a part-time accounting clerk while she completes her last academic year. She has also served as an Accounting Intern at Happy's Pizza and Savvy Sliders Corporate Offices.

She is involved in student organizations such as the Chaldean American Student Association, Financial Management Association, Chaldean American Business Society and Wayne Women in Business, which has allowed her to connect with like-minded individuals and develop her leadership skills.
