Maryam Roel

2024 Mike Ilitch School of Business 25 Under 25 winner

Maryam Roel is a first-generation college student, maintaining a 3.98 GPA while pursuing a bachelor of science in Business Administration with a major in accounting, and has received recognition on the Dean's List every semester. She expects to graduate in May 2025.

She has received various scholarships in recognition of her academic performance, including the Abraham Borman Scholarship, Business Administration Scholarship and the T. Norris and Vivilore Hitchman Endowed Scholarship.

Roel secured internship opportunities at Deloitte and DA Advisory Group. She is involved with Wayne Women in Business, where she serves as President of the organization, as well as the Corporate Mentorship Program and the Chaldean American Student Association.
