Peter J. Alkamano

2024 Mike Ilitch School of Business 25 Under 25 winner 

Peter J. Alkamano maintains a GPA of 3.98 and is pursuing a bachelor of science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting and Marketing. Alkamano is expected to graduate in May 2024.

Alkamano has gained valuable work experience as an Operations Director at MI Healthy Choice Vending, where he handled inventory, managed an online sales tracking portal, and maintained vending machines. He has served as an Advisory and Tax Intern at Rehmann, and as a Marketing Intern at Dietz Sports and Entertainment, where he successfully planned activation events and email and social media campaigns. 

Currently, he serves as an Accounting Clerk at Alkamano & Associates: Certified Public Accounting. He handles tax filings, day to day accounting, and client bookkeeping.

He also volunteers as a Youth Group Leader at St. Thomas Boys CREW Youth Group. Alkamano has taken on leadership roles in various clubs and organizations, including serving as the President of the Wayne State University Chaldean American Business Society and as an Event Coordinator for both the Wayne State University Chaldean American Students Association and Warriors in Accounting and Business.
