Enroll today in Wayne State University's dual degree four-year M.D./M.B.A. program

In today’s complex heath care system, successful physicians need to know as much about the business as they do medicine. Students pursuing an M.D. and currently practicing physicians can enroll in the dual degree four-year M.D./M.B.A. program offered by the Wayne State University School of Medicine and the Mike Ilitch School of Business.

This program aims to provide physicians and physicians in training an understanding of medical supply chain, logistics, information systems and financial aspects of the healthcare system, with the goal of making graduates stronger candidates for leadership roles at hospitals and other health care related businesses.

Students in the program receive the exceptional medical education offered by the WSU School of Medicine, and critical business and leadership skills and training from the Mike Ilitch School of Business. Students in the first year of their M.D. program can pursue this option as well and begin taking M.B.A. courses concurrent with their M.D. classes.
