34 entrepreneurs named finalists for Ernst & Young awards

Ernst & Young LLP has announced 34 finalists for the 30th annual EY Entrepreneur of the Year awards in its Michigan and Northwest Ohio regions. 

The award recognizes entrepreneurs who "demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities," a news release stated.

Ronia Kruse, CEO of OpTech, LLC, was chosen as a finalist for the EY awards. She is a Mike Ilitch School of Business alumna with her B.S. in Accounting (1992-1994) and her MS in Taxation (1994).
