Employer resources

At the Mike Ilitch School of Business, we're working to prepare future business leaders while simultaneously developing strategic partnerships with potential employers. Whether you're looking for individuals to add value to your business, to solve problems, or to innovate, we have the candidates to meet your needs. Wayne State business students and alumni are diverse, smart, driven, and are ready to work hard for your company, firm, or organization.

The Career Planning and Placement Office is here to help you develop long-lasting partnerships with our students, student organizations, faculty, and staff. We will work with your company to create customized solutions that best meet your hiring needs. From posting jobs to hosting recruiting events to conducting on-campus interviews, we look forward to working with you every step of the way.

If you'd like to set up a time to meet with Career Planning and Placement staff one-on-one and view our facility, we encourage you to reach out via phone at (313) 577-4781 or email us at bizcareers@wayne.edu

Interested in giving back? Volunteer your time to help build the confidence and career potential of an Ilitch School student through our Corporate Mentor Program. We match first-generation undergraduate students with local mid- to senior-level executives for one-on-one mentoring, which helps our students become career-ready through individualized professional advice, attention, and networking. The commitment is just a few hours per month, and you'll directly impact our students with experiences that will serve them throughout their careers.
