Alexa Witte

Alexa Witte joined the Mike Illitch School of Business in February 2025 after re-locating back to Metro Detroit from Nashville, TN, where she lived and worked for over a decade. Prior to landing her role at WSU, Alexa was the Programs Manager at Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee for 6 years. Through granting hundreds of wishes with the help of generous donors and community partners, she fell completely in love with mission-driven work and gained a passion for fundraising. She is thrilled to be back in her home state and to be working for such a vital Detroit institution.

 

Outside of her professional life, Alexa enjoys spending quality time with her dog/soulmate, Milton. She also loves attending concerts and theatre productions, as well as making the award-winning TV show, The Bear, her entire personality. Yes, Chef.
