Taewoo Kim

Taewoo Kim obtained his Doctorate in Management with a concentration in Accounting from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo in 2013. He earned both his Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from Sungkyunkwan University in South Korea in the early 2000s. Before entering academia, he worked as a senior auditor at Ernst & Young's Seoul office, providing assurance, corporate tax, and consulting services to multinational corporations such as Samsung, Toshiba, and Hitachi. Additionally, he led a governmental project for Korea Post.

During his time as an auditor and consultant for a global accounting firm, he recognized students' strong desire to learn about practical, real-world issues. His teaching interests reflect his extensive experience in both education and the auditing field.
