Nurani Hafsa

I am Nurani Hafsa, and I am currently pursuing my PhD in Marketing at the Mike Ilitch School of Business, Wayne State University, where I serve as a Graduate Research Assistant. Hailing from Bangladesh, I completed my Bachelor of Business Administration at Khulna University and earned my Master of Business Administration from the Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka, graduating as the valedictorian of my class. My academic journey has been fueled by a deep passion for research and a commitment to leveraging marketing insights for the greater good of society.

My long-term research agenda is to enable marketing research-driven services for greater consumer good. I am particularly interested in capturing and modeling consumer’s reaction while using digital media-based marketing and how a changing consumer perception model can be monitored, predicted, and utilized in real time to establish a consumer-in-the-loop marketing strategy.

In the fall of 2024, I moved to the United States to pursue my PhD in Marketing, guided by a vision to contribute meaningfully to the academic and research community. After graduation, I aspire to continue my journey in academia, where I aim to produce impactful research while mentoring and inspiring future generations of marketing professionals.
